Annierae had a wonderful Easter this year. Day 4 of our trip to Grandma & Grandpa's included a tour of the Ben & Jerry's Ice cream factory in Waterbury, VT. On Tuesday Annierae's orphanage sister Isabel came for a visit and had the cutest hairdo of curly pony tails. When I asked Julie (Isabel's Mom) how she made the curls she told me she used foam curlers. Annierae took her first international trip in early February 2006 since coming home from China. She traveled down to Cabo San Lucas Mexico with Mom & Dad, Grandma & Grandpa and Aunt Judy & Uncle Bob. She had a fabulous time! She did really well traveling on the two flights each way, although she got a little cranky on the last leg home as it was 11:00pm at night after traveling most of the day.

What a glorious morning - our prayers for a child have been answered today!!!Our social worker just called Kristine and told us the joyous news - we have a new little girl waiting for us in China!!!Her name is Qian Mei Yuan (pronounced Chin May Yawn) and she was born on December 16th, 2004!!!We don't have any other information yet - we are meeting our social worker late this afternoon to get the

Kristine asked me to put up a picture of the nursery. I'll post more shortly, but this one gives you an idea of what it looks like.The painting on the wall was taken from the vignette on the blanket and artfully transposed by none other that Kristine herself (that Kendall degree really paid off!).As I said, I'll take more photos shortly and post them, including the new, 5ft giant stuffed giraffe!
