The Nursery

Kristine asked me to put up a picture of the nursery. I'll post more shortly, but this one gives you an idea of what it looks like.

The painting on the wall was taken from the vignette on the blanket and artfully transposed by none other that Kristine herself (that Kendall degree really paid off!).

As I said, I'll take more photos shortly and post them, including the new, 5ft giant stuffed giraffe!

The Life of Annierae - Our Little Angel

Hello! and welcome to our blog devoted to the life story of Annierae, our little angel.

My wife Kristine and I are in the process of adopting a little girl from China. We began the endeavor in April of 2004. It has been a rigorous and detailed process to say the least and we're near the end of the process, hopefully only weeks away from traveling to China to meet our little angel for the first time!

All of the paperwork, background checks, home studies and interviews are complete. We are just waiting for the all important referral - the package that contains the details and of course a picture of our little Annierae. We expect to get the call that our referral is here any day now!!!

To help during this waiting period I decided to create this blog in preparation for our adventure to get our little girl. This blog will serve as the primary communications hub for family & friends as we journey to and from China.

For those of you interested in the details and logistics to date, here is a brief summary:

Needless to say, we are full of anticipation, excitement, nervousness and a deep desire to embark on our trip RIGHT NOW!!!!
